Mendellas has been using the Longsword and bow for as long as he can remember, his first memories are of filling straw targest full of arrows, and he has only gotten better. His aim is true and his draw speed could be compared to the beating of a bee's wings.

Character Personality:
Ever since Mendellas was a child he was left alone for the other children could not fathom what he said most of the time. Mendellas was raised to hate the Mortulis with a passion but love his people with one even bigger, so this became his basis for life. His people know him as the Golden King for his compassion and wise demeanor, his enemies, however, knew him as "The Huntsman" for his cunning tactics and his ruthless raids. The foolish would call him short sighted, the wise... they need not say anything, for his actions spoke louder than his voice ever could.

Background Info:
Mendellas was always the odd child to the others, at the age of 4 he was reading and learning about the different types of battle tactics or economics. All the other children stayed clear of the wierd kid who would not play, and that reputation stayed with him through most of his life, his only friend was his Hound and he was satisfied with that and reading. At the age of 19 he joined the army as a scout to better know the land he would inherit aswell as the land he would conquer -- the desert of Mortuli. Within a few scouting trips they were attacked in Mortuli by a border patrol and Mendellas wetted his blade for the first time thought he didn't do that much fighting, he mostly studied the battle formation of the small defence from afar, memorizing everything he could. (All of this was unknown to the king of cource).
At the age of 21 there was a assasination attempt upon his family where his brother, Hound and father were killed but he managed to acquire revenge, opening the man like a fish in the market. A year later his people saw the first break in the stalemate war with the Mortuli in over a century. Mendellas lead the Glorious Legions into a seemingly suicidal uphill assault upon a stronghold the Mortuli had at the border and won with surprizingly low casualties. This proved to be a more cruitial position at second glance because it was a big water supply for the Mortuli and had firtile ground for farming. That same year he got married to a woman who's family he had trusted for several years and they started an economic Golden Age for his people. At the age of 30 he apointed Allanon Creel to be a High Paladin, the youngest in history and the following months proved the choice was well made as Allanon became a loyal and richeous soldier.
As months went by and scouting reports came in Mendellas was being informed the Mortulian cities were fonctioning normal, but the people were looking less and less... human, it seemed odd, and for the next few years the reports were sounding more and more as if the Mortulians were becoming undead, yet no matter how hard they searched, no matter what assumptions were made, it was a mystery that was getting deeper by the day...
