Four Heroes' War
This war was fought by the few, and the many.
It started 500 some years ago when a mysterious force was bringing dark creatures to Darasum. The Ruler of Darasum at the time, King Huron, ordered for a group of his best knights to investigate the recent happenings. The knights did not return, so he sent a small army to the spot the creatures were coming from, the only problem was that they came from everywhere.
The Creatures or so they were called, advanced from all directions, tearing down cities, homes, fortresses, anything in their path. The main problem was that King Huron could not unite Darasum under him.
By the time a plan was made, nearly half of the continent was destroyed.

The four heroes
The plan, If one may call it so, more of a hope; was to gather warriors from all over the land, and unite under them as a figurehead.
King Huron took it upon himself to travel to each capital city, gathering the four heroes.
One, a northern man, known only by the title of The Great Warrior.
Two, an eastern holy man, referred to as The Holy Knight.
Three, a southern being, given the title of The True Marksman.
Four, a western mage, called The Arch mage.
These titles were simply to instill hope as they were know to have inconsequential names.
